Detailed Itineraries
Day 1:
Depart from Arusha at 09.00 for Seronera airstrip in
Serengeti. On your arrival in Serengeti, Your guide will be
waiting you at the airstrip for the transfer to the lodge.
Late afternoon game drive and overnight at Lodge or Camp,
Full board
Day 2: Full
day game drive in Serengeti plains with picnic box provided,
overnight at Lodge or Camp, full board.
Day 3:
After breakfast, game drive with visit to Oldupai Gorge
where Dr Louis Leakey discovered Zinjanthropus at the Gorge.
At the museum you see the various archaeological discoveries
made here. Thereafter, return to Lodge for lunch followed by
late afternoon/evening game drive. Overnight at Lodge,
full board.
Serengeti:
Wide-open space, in the Maasai language, is the oldest and
largest park in Tanzania. The Serengeti is renowned for its
annual wildebeest migration and large predator population.
From March to May, a herd of over a million wildebeests
migrate for the Western corridor of the park in search of
greener pastures. Serengeti’s other common animals include
lions, leopards, zebras, Thompson gazelles, impala, Grant’s
gazelles and buffalos. Most of the park is open grassland
broken by isolated granite kopjes and patches of acacias
woodlands.
Day 4: After
breakfast decent into the crater flour for half day crater
tour, late after noon, Depart for Arusha to connect your
flight back home or extension to Zanzibar.
End of the trip
