Detailed Itineraries
Day 1: Upon
arrival at Dar es Salaam International Airport, you will be
met by our representative and transfer to hotel. For dinner
and Overnight Hotel, bed and breakfast
Day 2: Your
Tour manager will join you for breakfast and thereafter
transfer to Selous Game Reserve. Late afternoon game drives.

Day 3: Walking
safaris in the morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight
at Mobile Camp, full board
Day 4:
Boat safaris and late afternoon game drive. Overnight at
Mobile Camp, Full board
Selous Game Reserve covering 50,000sq km, this is the
largest game reserve in the world. The reserve holds
Tanzania's largest population of elephant as well as large
numbers of herds of buffalo, hippo, crocodile, wild dog, a
variety of 440 species of birds, over 2000 variety of
plants, hot volcanic springs, lagoons, the great Rufiji
River and the diverse landscape. Other species commonly seen
are lion, bushbuck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra
and greater kudu. Selous Game Reserve a World Heritage site
Day 5:
Depart after morning game drive and head for Morogoro. Over
night at Vuma Tented Camp, full board.
Day 6: The
sunrise in Mikumi National Park is one of the best
features. Depart from Camp at approximately 06.30am and
return in time for breakfast. Relax by the pool and laet
afternoon game drive. Overnight at Vuma Tented Camp, full
board
Mikumi N.P. is Tanzania's third largest National Park
and covers an area of 3230 sq km. One of the principal
features of Mikumi is the Mkata River flood plain, an area
of lush vegetation, which particularly attracts elephants
and buffaloes. The park is flanked between the Uluguru and
Udzungwa Mountains. Open grasslands dominate in the flood
plain, eventually merging with the miombo woodlands covering
the lower hills. Mikumi National Park is home to buffalo,
giraffe, elephant, lion, zebra, leopard and is also famous
for its wild dogs and 6m long pythons.
Day 6:
After breakfast we head on to Ruaha Nat. Park. Enjoy the
beautiful scenery. This will be a long day drive and packed
lunch will be provided. Overnight at Mobile Camp, full
board.
Day 7: Morning
and evening game drives. Overnight at Mobile Camp, full
board
Day 8: Early
morning walking safaris. Overnight at Mobile Camp,
Full board.
RUAHA NATIONAL PARK,
Tanzania's 2nd biggest park and host to a number of animals
which rare or absent in the North. The rare animals include
the African Wild dog, roan and sable antelope and the
greater kudu. The Great Ruaha River, which provides life to
the park, flows through the eastern side of the park and is
home to hippos, crocodiles and a variety of water birds.
Mobile Camp
provides the ultimate safari experience bringing back the
nostalgic memories of the Old Golden safari days. The
Mwizarubi Mobile camp beckons you to an exceptional African
hospitality and experience. A rare opportunity of adventure,
luxury, comfort and service unexpected in the African
wilderness. Accommodation is in large walking tents with en
suite bathrooms (open air hot water showers, bio degradable
flushable toilets), the finest bush cuisine served by
experienced bush cook under a canvas dinning. Wine is served
with meals and a well stocked bar is available.
The game activities are at leisure and set around your
requirements. Walking safaris are lead by experienced guides
together with armed game rangers.
Day 9:
Depart in the morning fro Udungwa National Park. Overnight
at Foxes Camp, Mikumi, full board
Day 10: Full day at Udziungwa Nation Park. Depending on your
stamina, you may go trekking on the Mountain, relaxation by
the waterfall. Overnight at Foxes Camp, full board
Udzungwa Mountains National Park
covers an area 1,900 sq km and is the newest National Park
in Tanzania opened to the public only 1992. The red colubus
and the Sanje crested manabrey, elephants, buffalos,
leopards, and sable antelopes are some of the residents in
this park. A good range of birdlife is present which
includes Rufus winged sunbird, Iringa akalat, Lagden’s bush
shrike and Udzungwa partridge. Activities include a hike to
the Sanje water falls or a climb to the top of the
Luhombereo, Udzungwa highest peak.
