Detailed Itineraries
Day 1:
Early morning departure at 08.00 am for Selous Game Reserve.
This will be a 5- 6 hours
drive through villages and beautiful landscape. Arrival in
be camp will be late after noon. Packed lunch will be
provided. Overnight at Campsite or Lodge, full board
Day 2: Begin
your day with a morning walking accompanied by am armed
ranger. This will take approximately 3- 4 hours and will be
followed by a game drive, returning to camp for lunch. The
late afternoon game drives starts from 16.00 – 18.30.
Overnight at Campsite or Lodge, full board
Day: 3
Morning boat safari followed by a full day game drive.
Return to camp/lode in the late evening and overnight at
Campsite/Lodge
Day 4: Morning
game drive and thereafter depart for Dar es Salaam,
Selous boasts of Tanzania's largest population of elephant
as well as large numbers of herds of buffalo, hippo,
crocodile, wild dog, a variety of 440 species of birds, over
2000 variety of plants, hot volcanic springs, lagoons, the
great Rufiji River and the diverse landscape makes Selous
Game Reserve a World Heritage site. Other species commonly
seen are lion, bushbuck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon,
zebra and Greater kudu.
