Detailed Itineraries
Day 1:
Morning departure either from the Kanombe International
Airport or from overnight Hotel in Kigali. The scenic drive
gets you through the beautiful evergreen mountain country.
Arrive after a 3 hour drive for dinner and overnight either
at Mountain Gorilla's Nest Lodge or Kinigi Guest
House. Meal Plan - Dinner.
Day 2:
Briefing by park ranger guides. Later with picnic lunch,
start 30 minutes - 4 hours trek to find the Mountain
gorillas. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas
were the previous day. After a full hour with the gorillas,
return to your accommodations for lunch, then drive to
Kigali for dinner and overnight at Mille Collines Hotel
or Chez Lando Hotel. Meal Plan - Breakfast, Lunch
and Dinner.
Day 3:
Transfer to Kanombe airport for departure.
CONNECTING FLIGHTS ARE THROUGH NAIROBI, ENTEBBE AND
KILIMANJARO/ARUSHA
