DAY 1:
Arrival in Zanzibar
Upon arrival in Zanzibar you will be met at the airport and
transferred to Sultan Sands Island Resort for overnight.
Dinner is included at the resort. [D]
SULTAN SANDS ISLAND RESORT 4 Star
The Sultan Sands Island Resort lies on the beachfront of a
25 acre stretch of subtly landscaped gardens, decked with
over 1000 palm trees. Less than an hours drive from Zanzibar
international airport, the resort is located at Kiwengwa in
the east coast of Zanzibar. The Resort has a total of 76
rooms, each of which contains a spacious bedroom, separate
dressing room, en suite bathroom and a verandah or balcony.
The furnishings are tasteful traditional Zanzibar furniture
including either one large bed or two queen size beds with
mosquito nets, separate dressing room, ensuite bathroom with
a shower and a spacious verandah. A touch of modernity is
added by the split-level air conditioners, ceiling fans,
satellite TV's, mini-bars, hair dryers, safes and
telephones. Smoke detectors and fire alarms complete the
picture.
The Sultan Sands Island Resort caters to a variety of water
sports and recreation activities. Facilities include a
Five-Star PADI Dive Centre, a Fitness centre, Health Spa,
Childrens club, flood-lit tennis court. Beach volleyball,
Windsurfers, Single and Double Kayaks, Sail Boats, Peddle
Boats, Hobie Cats, Water trampoline and Body Boards.
DAY 2, 3 & 4: Sultan Sands
Island Resort
At your own leisure at Sultan Sands Island Resort, dinner &
breakfast included. [BD]
Spend your days enjoying all the activities available at the
hotel. Facilities include a Five-Star PADI Dive Centre, a
Fitness centre, Health Spa, and flood-lit tennis court. For
watersport enthusiasts, you can remain as active as you
wish; with the beach volleyball, Windsurfers, Single and
Double Kayaks, Sail Boats, Peddle Boats, Hobie Cats, Water
trampoline and Body Boards.
Children aged 3 to 13 years will be kept out of mischief and
fully entertained at the Childrens Club. Run by highly
trained childrens animators with specialist first aid
training, the Childrens Club offers days filled with fun
outdoor and indoor activities, with weekly themed programmes.
The children are also introduced to the swahili culture
including basic swahili language, as well as local arts and
crafts lessons.
A professional baby sitting service is also available (at a
nominal charge) either for day time or evening.
For those of you longing to lie back and relax, forget about
work, and enjoy the tranquility, there are endless stretches
of white sand beaches and a beautifully clear Indian Ocean
for you to enjoy.
DAY 5: Depart Zanzibar
Transfer to airport for your onward flight. [B]

Return airport transfers, 4 nights accommodation at the 4*
Sultan Sands Island Resort on a half board basis (breakfasts
and dinners).
Excludes:
International and domestic flights, visa, personal and
travel insurance, tips, lunches & beverages, laundry, any
